Today was a great day, my family got together with our local village and some new folks that I hadn't met before, it was a lot of fun! We helped clean one village member's property in advance of a Beltane get-together and all available hands were put to work. The kids played nicely together and needed minimal parental intervention, which was nice, so rare - and so nice. We made a ton of progress and even had an opportunity for female bonding, which was such a nice surprise, I'm glad to get to know the new ladies and I look forward to getting to know them better in the year to come.
